This Privacy Policy explains how Radiant Spectrum Lasers LLC (“LaserBridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the LaserBridge website at laserbridge.net (including the download host dl.laserbridge.net and the licence portal), and the LaserBridge software plugin and its licensing tools (together, the “Service”).

LaserBridge is a professional tool for event production — an FFGL plugin that drives laser projection systems from Resolume. The Service is intended for professional and business users. It is not directed to children (see “Children’s Privacy” below).

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The Service is operated by Radiant Spectrum Lasers LLC, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the “data controller” of the personal information described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

We collect personal information in the following ways.

Information you provide

• Purchase and billing information. When you buy a LaserBridge licence, you provide your email address and payment details at checkout. Payment details (such as your card number) are collected and processed directly by Stripe — we do not see, receive, or store your full card number.
• Support correspondence. If you email us (for example, to recover a lost licence key or free up a machine slot), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.

Information collected automatically or generated by the Service

• Licence and activation data. To run the plugin, your licence must be activated. Our licensing provider, Keygen, stores your licence key, the email address associated with your purchase, and a machine fingerprint for each activated computer, up to a maximum of two active machines (“seats”). The machine fingerprint is a fuzzy hardware hash based on a “2-of-3” match of hardware characteristics; it is designed to identify a machine for licensing purposes and is not used to track you across the internet. You can view your own activations and delete any machine fingerprint yourself at laserbridge.net/license.
• Licence-check activity. The lb_license.exe component contacts Keygen when you activate a machine and during a routine daily licence-renewal task. These requests transmit your licence key and machine fingerprint so that your activation can be validated.
• Server logs. Our website and download host are served through Cloudflare. Like almost all websites, our infrastructure automatically records standard technical request logs, which can include your IP address, browser/user-agent string, the pages or files requested, and timestamps. These are used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.

What the plugin does not collect

The LaserBridge plugin never touches the network during a performance. Licence validation at showtime reads a signed file on disk rather than calling out to a server. The only networked component is lb_license.exe, described above.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• process your purchase and deliver your licence;
• send you your licence key and transactional messages related to your purchase (delivered through Resend, from keys@laserbridge.net);
• activate, validate, and enforce your licence, including limiting activations to two machines and letting you manage your own machine slots;
• provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• operate, secure, and maintain the website, download host, and licensing system, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• comply with our legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or use it to serve targeted ads.

4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Performance of a contract — to sell and deliver your licence, activate the plugin, and provide support.
• Legitimate interests — to secure and maintain the Service, enforce licence terms (including the two-machine limit), and prevent fraud and abuse. We balance these interests against your rights.
• Legal obligation — to keep transaction and tax records as required by law.
• Consent — where we ask for it separately (for example, if we ever send non-transactional email). You can withdraw consent at any time.

5. How we share information (Service providers / sub-processors)

We share personal information only with the service providers that make the Service work. Each processes data on our behalf or, in Stripe’s case, as merchant of record, under its own privacy terms:

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of LaserBridge, our users, or others. If our business is ever transferred (for example, through a sale of assets), personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

6. International data transfers

Our service providers (including Stripe, Keygen, Resend, and Cloudflare) are based in or process data in the United States and other countries. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data-transfer rules, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries whose laws may differ from your own. Where required, these transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by these providers.

7. How long we keep information

• Purchase and licence records are retained for as long as your licence is active and afterward for as long as needed to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• Machine fingerprints are retained while a machine is activated; you can delete them yourself at laserbridge.net/license, and they are removed when you deactivate a seat.
• Support emails are retained for as long as needed to resolve your request and keep reasonable records.
• Server logs are retained on a short, rolling basis for security and operational purposes.

When we no longer need personal information, we delete it or anonymize it.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information. You can already delete your machine activations yourself at laserbridge.net/license.
• Portability — request a copy of certain information in a portable format.
• Objection / restriction — object to or ask us to restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.

For US residents (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, and to correct it. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@laserbridge.net. We may need to verify your identity — for example, by confirming the email address associated with your licence — before acting on a request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your information properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, though we’d appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

9. Cookies and tracking

We keep tracking to a minimum. Our site is served through Cloudflare, which may set essential cookies needed for security and to keep the site running. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

10. Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect personal information. Payment card data is handled by Stripe and never stored on our systems. Licence validation on your machine relies on a signed file on disk, and website and download traffic is served over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Your licence key proves ownership of your licence — treat it like a password and keep it private. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Service is a professional tool intended for business and professional users, and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16, and in no event from anyone under 13 (the threshold under the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). Purchases are intended to be made by adults.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@laserbridge.net and we will delete it. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable law, we will delete that information promptly.

12. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites, such as 2infinity.app or our service providers’ pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by a notice on the website). Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

14. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory local data-protection law applies to you.
